Three of the top five home runs this season have come off the bat of the Marlins slugger totaling 467, 474 and 475 feet respectably, including one that went OUT of Dodger Stadium. The Miami Marlins signed Stanton to a mammoth contract extension during the offseason and every time Stanton makes contact with the ball, you almost feel bad that the ball might be in some sort of pain! The Steroid Era of baseball is frowned upon nowadays, but it did provide nightly entertainment and the 1998 home run chase between McGuire and Sammy Sosa.
