| The NBA is always on top of their jersey game, but sometimes they choose to make some interesting choices in the way the jerseys look. The 2014 NBA Christmas jerseys were released recently and one aspect stands out amongst the others: the players first names are used instead of their last on the back of the jersey. For example - the Cleveland Cavaliers 23 jersey will say LeBron on the back instead of James. For some players like LeBron, Carmelo or Kobe - this will work - for others like John Wall or Tim Duncan, it just looks silly.
