The Redskins' drafting of Kirk Cousins in the fourth round looked better and better as we watched RGIII limp through the final month of the season. No, Cousins is not RGIII. What he is is a young quarterback who is able to be inserted in at a moment's notice without the offense needing to put on training wheels. Sure, it's a different offense, but it's effective enough to win.
Without a bunch of picks due to the trade for RGIII, the Redskins need to ensure they hit on nearly every pick this year if they want to keep augmenting the talent base on their promising team.
